He comes from Malaysia, who is famous with his beautiful voice and clear pronunciation, and he was regarded as ‘Prince of Cantonese opera song’. He was not only singer, but also actor and lyrics writer. After establishing the first Mandarin music record, he started to rearranged the songs with Cantonese lyrics. His works of《流浪漢》and《女人女人女人》were hoot amazing, and made him even more popular among the Southeast Asia. 《鴛鴦江》in 1969 was a big breakthrough for him, and 『新禪院鐘聲』even won him with the Ming Pao ‘Ten Singer Award’ in 1973.
